Prepared and presented lectures and demos on 35mm manual camera operation, traditional black-and-white wet developing and printing techniques. Focused attention on teaching formal elements of design with emphasis on developing a full range of printed tonality. For Studio Lighting, basic studio lighting scenarios were covered.. Topics included: setup and use of tungsten and fluorescent-based hot lights and power-pack strobe kits. Color temperature discussed as well as how to light for a variety of situations: commercial portraits, tabletop, vignettes, and fine art-based subject matter. Assigned all projects and provided individual instruction for each student. Critiqued all projects in class and assigned all grades.
